Slot size

With the help of drawings from others in the group, I drew the shapes up on illustrator. I made the slots all exactly 3mm so that they would fit together.

The shapes turned out looking really cool, however some slots were too small, and some were too big. I think this was because of the laser cutting. As we were putting the shapes together, we realised that they did work. The fact that some are slightly smaller and some are slightly larger will improve the chances of the tree falling while people are adding to the tree.
The falling of the tree will make for a much more movable and constantly changing structure.

We need to think of a structured way for allowing people to come in and pick up pieces, and we need to think of what will happen when someone does make the tree fall. Perhaps something to do with the number of pieces that fall.
